Core configuration

This desktop pairs a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed on a 2TB NVMe SSD. Liquid cooling handles the CPU thermal load inside a CoolerMaster HAF 500 case.

Upgrade path

The platform moves from a previous LGA 1700 design to the newer LGA 1851 socket on a Z890 TUF motherboard. Four memory slots are populated to the 192GB maximum, so further RAM expansion requires module replacement. The 750W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply sets the ceiling for any future GPU change.

Best fit and limits

The build suits creators who need high core counts and large memory capacity for rendering, modelling or AI workloads alongside gaming. Buyers who want more storage bays than two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal slots should look elsewhere. The single RTX 5060 Ti 8GB configuration does not support multi-GPU scaling.

Questions about this item

What are the case dimensions and internal drive bays for the CoolerMaster HAF 500?

The case measures 508 x 203 x 508 mm and includes two internal 3.5-inch bays and two internal 2.5-inch bays for additional storage drives.

How is the 240mm liquid CPU cooler installed, and what step is often missed?

The cooler mounts to the LGA 1851 socket on the Z890 motherboard; the step often missed is connecting the pump power header and ARGB cable to the correct motherboard connectors before closing the case.

When will the Thermaltake Smart 750W PSU or the 240mm AIO liquid cooler need replacement?

The 750W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU typically lasts several years; the 240mm AIO liquid cooler may require coolant refresh or pump replacement after 3 to 5 years of continuous operation.
