Purpose-built workstation

This desktop combines a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 16GB graphics card. It targets professionals who need a single machine for rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads alongside high-end gaming. The Z890 TUF motherboard and liquid CPU cooler support sustained heavy compute tasks.

Memory ceiling

The system ships with the maximum supported 192GB of DDR5 installed across four slots, leaving no room for future expansion. Buyers who anticipate larger datasets or heavier multitasking must accept this fixed capacity. The CPU reaches up to 5.50 GHz with 30 MB L3 cache to keep data flowing through that memory.

Storage layout

Dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO SSDs deliver up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds for active projects, while a 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache provides bulk capacity. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4, USB 20Gbps and 10Gbps ports, Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4. A 1000W 80 PLUS Gold PSU powers the build.

Questions about this item

How does the 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265K perform inside the Ceres 300 case?

The 20-core processor reaches up to 5.50 GHz with a 240 mm liquid cooler fitted, keeping thermals controlled in the 475 x 245 x 463 mm chassis.

What does the Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port on the Z890 TUF motherboard actually cap at?

The rear Thunderbolt 4 Type-C runs at up to 40 Gbps, while the adjacent USB 20 Gbps Type-C and three USB 10 Gbps ports handle high-speed peripherals.

Will the 300 mm GPU clearance fit the RTX 5080 16 GB card?

The Ceres 300 mid-tower accepts graphics cards up to 300 mm long, so the RTX 5080 16 GB fits with room for the front 140 mm fans.
