Purpose-built workstation

This system is assembled for professionals running SolidWorks, CAD, CAM and CAE modelling workloads. The 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K and 128GB DDR5 give headroom for large assemblies and simulation tasks. An Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell with 32GB VRAM drives certified drivers for ISV applications. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and ready for domain integration.

Build and connectivity

A Corsair 4000D tempered-glass chassis houses a 360mm liquid cooler and an 850W 80 PLUS Bronze supply with Japanese main capacitors. The Z790 TUF motherboard adds Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2 alongside rear I/O that includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and four USB 3.2 Gen 1. Internal bays provide two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch positions for the included 10TB HDD and future expansion.

Interface limits

The 4TB Samsung 990 PRO operates over PCIe 4.0x4, so sequential throughput tops out at the drive's rated 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. Four M.2 connectors share chipset lanes with the four SATA 6Gb/s ports, meaning populating every slot can reduce bandwidth for additional NVMe drives. The 2.5Gb Ethernet link caps wired network transfers at that rate.
