24-Core i9-14900K Workstation

This Adamant Custom tower pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 128GB DDR5 and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 32GB GPU. It targets professionals who need heavy multi-threaded compute for editing, rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads, while still delivering high-frame-rate gaming. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed on the 8TB NVMe array.

Liquid Cooling and 1200W Gold PSU

A 360mm Quiet Edition AIO cooler handles the CPU thermal load, and the Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit supplies power with Japanese main capacitors and a 140mm low-noise fan. The Corsair 4000D chassis provides filtered airflow, while the motherboard integrates Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2 alongside Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet for wired connectivity.

Upgrading From Air-Cooled Mid-Range Builds

Builders moving from air-cooled systems with smaller memory kits and single-GPU configurations gain the headroom of 128GB DDR5, dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives at 7450 MB/s read, and a 10TB HDD with 256MB cache. The jump is worth it when project timelines demand sustained all-core frequencies up to 6.00 GHz and 32GB VRAM for large scene datasets.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted in the Corsair 4000D case and which step do builders often miss?

The radiator fits the top or front 360 mm mount; the step many miss is screwing the fans to the radiator before placing the assembly in the case so the screws line up with the mounting holes.

What maintenance will the 360 mm AIO and the 1200 W Gold PSU need after a few years?

Check the AIO tubing for seepage and clean the radiator fins annually; the PSU fan intake should be vacuumed yearly and the unit replaced if coil whine or voltage drift appears.

Which limit appears first when the i9-14900K and RTX 5090 run sustained heavy loads?

The CPU hits its 6.00 GHz thermal ceiling first, causing the liquid cooler to ramp fan speed before the GPU or power delivery reaches its own limits.
