Target Workstation

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 192GB DDR5 and an RTX 5070 12GB GPU. It suits creators who run modelling, rendering or AI learning workloads alongside high-refresh gaming. The 8TB NVMe array and 10TB HDD give ample space for active projects and archives.

PCIe 4.0 Storage Ceiling

The two Samsung 990 PRO drives top out at 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface. Sequential throughput will not exceed those figures, and random IOPS scale with queue depth. The Z790 chipset provides three M.2 slots, so one remains open for future expansion.

Pre-Built Integration

The system ships fully assembled with a 360mm liquid cooler, 850W Bronze PSU and Windows 11 Pro installed. Cable routing is handled inside the Corsair 4000D chassis. The only typical friction point is the physical weight of the cooler and GPU when moving the tower; the motherboard and memory are already validated.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 192 GB DDR5 kit or a smaller capacity for AI workloads?

The system ships with the maximum 192 GB DDR5 across four slots, so there is no smaller factory option; this capacity lets large models stay in memory without swapping.

What does the 6.00 GHz boost clock mean once the i9-14900K is inside this liquid-cooled tower?

The 24-core CPU can reach 6.00 GHz on lightly threaded tasks while the 360 mm AIO keeps thermals in check, giving short bursts of peak frequency during compile or render spikes.

How fast are the dual 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface in practice?

Each M.2 SSD delivers up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes on the Z790 chipset's PCIe 4.0 lanes, so large project loads and scratch-file traffic move at near-peak throughput.
