Purpose-built workstation

The system pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 192 GB of DDR5 and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU carrying 32 GB of memory. Windows 11 Pro drives professional CAD, CAM and CAE modelling workloads in a liquid-cooled tower chassis.

Stepping up from lesser configurations

The combination of dual 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives and a 10 TB HDD replaces smaller SSD-only or HDD-only setups when project datasets exceed several terabytes. The jump is worth it when simulation meshes, point-cloud scans or multi-camera footage must stay on local storage without network latency.

Sustained-load behaviour

A 360 mm liquid CPU cooler and an 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply keep the 24-core processor near its 6.00 GHz boost during long renders or finite-element solves. Case fans and sound-dampening panels maintain airflow while limiting acoustic output during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm AIO liquid cooler fit in the Antec P10 FLUX mid-tower case?

Yes, the case supports a 360 mm radiator at the front and the supplied cooler is a 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO designed for this chassis.

How is the 192 GB DDR5 memory installed on the Z790 PRIME motherboard, and what step is often missed?

Populate all four DIMM slots with the matched 48 GB modules, then enable the XMP profile in UEFI so the kit runs at its rated speed instead of the default JEDEC frequency.

When will the 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU likely need replacement under heavy workstation loads?

The Thermaltake Smart 850 W unit uses Japanese main capacitors rated for long life; expect 5–7 years of continuous high-load operation before proactive replacement is prudent.
