Tower workstation for CAD and simulation

The system pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 64GB DDR5 and an Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 24GB GPU. Liquid cooling keeps the processor stable under sustained multi-threaded loads. Windows 11 Pro is installed and the chassis is a Corsair 4000D with tempered glass.

1TB Samsung 990 PRO plus 10TB HDD and Z790

The boot drive delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec over PCIe 4.0x4. The 10TB hard drive adds 256MB cache for bulk project storage. The motherboard provides 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, BLUETOOTH 5.2, four SATA 6Gb/s ports and four M.2 connectors.

Check your 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU and case

The Thermaltake Smart 850W unit uses a 140mm fan and Japanese main capacitors with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. The 360mm AIO radiator needs compatible mounting space inside your chosen enclosure. Verify the 490 x 239 x 486 mm dimensions suit your desk or rack.

Questions about this item

How often should the liquid in the 360 mm AIO cooler be checked or replaced?

The 360 mm AIO cooler is a sealed unit that does not require routine fluid changes; inspect the tubing and pump for leaks during a yearly dust clean-out.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first when the i9-14900K runs at 6.00 GHz on all 24 cores for hours?

The 850 W PSU and 360 mm AIO are sized for the CPU’s peak draw, so the processor’s own thermal limit is reached before the cooler or power supply saturates.

How loud is the 140 mm PSU fan and the AIO pump when the system renders continuously at full load?

The PSU uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan rated for low noise, and the AIO is a Quiet Edition model; both are designed to stay subdued under sustained load.
