System identity

This Adamant Custom tower is a liquid-cooled workstation desktop built around a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor running at 3.2 GHz with a 6.00 GHz boost. It ships with 32 GB of DDR5 memory, a 1 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and a 10 TB hard drive. Integrated Intel graphics drive HDMI and DisplayPort outputs for immediate display connectivity.

Before ordering

The motherboard uses an LGA 1700 socket on the Z790 chipset with four total memory slots supporting up to 192 GB of DDR5. Storage expansion is provided by three M.2 connectors and four SATA 6 Gb/s ports inside a Corsair 4000D case that offers two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays. Rear I/O includes USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Thermals and power

A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while a 140 mm fan in the Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply maintains low noise levels. The PSU uses Japanese main capacitors and provides over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. The case measures 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high.

Questions about this item

Does the PC ship with a dedicated graphics card, or do I need to buy one separately?

The system relies on the i9-14900K integrated graphics with HDMI and DisplayPort outputs; no discrete GPU is included, so add one if you need higher gaming performance.

Which SSD capacity should I choose between the 1TB NVMe and the 10TB HDD?

The 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe handles OS and active games with 7450 MB/s reads, while the 10TB 256 MB cache HDD provides bulk storage for media and backups.

What does the 6.00 GHz turbo figure mean for actual gaming frame rates?

The 24-core CPU can boost to 6.00 GHz on light loads, but sustained gaming performance depends on the integrated graphics, which is limited compared to a discrete card.
