Workstation for CAD and CAE modelling

This desktop is built for engineers and designers who run SolidWorks and similar CAD, CAM or CAE packages. The 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and 192GB of DDR5 memory give the multi-threaded headroom those workloads demand. It is not suited for buyers who want more storage than the supplied drives provide.

192GB DDR5 maximum memory

The motherboard supports a maximum of 192GB of DDR5 across four slots and this system arrives fully populated at that limit. No further memory can be added without removing existing modules. Builders who need a higher total capacity would need a different platform.

16GB RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU

The Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell card includes 16GB of video memory and targets professional visualisation rather than high-end gaming. The bundled 360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply are sized for the installed components and leave no margin for a second graphics card.

Questions about this item

What does the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K at 3.7 GHz deliver in a real workstation?

The 24-core CPU reaches up to 5.70 GHz with 36 MB L3 cache, giving strong multi-threaded throughput for CAD, CAM and CAE modelling workloads.

How does the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface limit the Samsung 990 PRO 2 TB SSD in practice?

The drive is capped at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds, so sequential reads top out at 7450 MB/s and writes at 6900 MB/s.

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler and RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell fit in the Antec P10 FLUX case?

Yes, the mid-tower supports a front-mounted 360 mm radiator and full-length graphics cards, so both the AIO and the 16 GB GPU install without clearance issues.
