24-Core i9 Workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K with 128GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive. Liquid cooling handles the CPU thermal load inside an Antec P20 mid-tower case. This system targets creators and engineers who need high thread counts and fast storage for rendering, compilation or simulation workloads.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler keeps the 24-core processor stable during extended multi-threaded runs. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU delivers continuous power with Japanese main capacitors and protection against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit events. Front 120mm intake fans and dust filters on bottom, front and top maintain airflow without excessive noise over long sessions.

Upgrade Context

The platform moves from a Z690 or earlier LGA 1700 board to a Z790 TUF motherboard with Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2, adding four M.2 slots and 2.5 Gb Ethernet. Builders who need more than 128GB can expand to 192GB across four DDR5 slots. The RTX 5060 Ti 8GB suits GPU-accelerated apps but leaves headroom for a larger card if the 850W supply and case clearance allow. Users who only need mainstream gaming or lighter multitasking will find the 24-core configuration excessive.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the i9-14900K during all-day workloads?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the case's three 120 mm front fans move heat away from the 24-core CPU, while the PSU's 140 mm fan runs at low noise.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need to use the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB?

The graphics card provides modern display outputs; connect a compatible monitor with the appropriate cable for your chosen resolution and refresh rate.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 2.5-inch drives fit inside the Antec P20 case alongside the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO?

Yes, the case includes two internal 3.5"/2.5" bays and two dedicated 2.5" bays, plus four SATA 6 Gb/s ports on the Z790 motherboard.
