24-Core Liquid Cooled Workstation

This desktop ships with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and 128GB of DDR5 memory. The combination targets professionals who need high thread counts for rendering, compilation or large dataset work. Buyers who require a discrete graphics card for GPU-accelerated workloads will not find one in this configuration.

Thermals Noise and Power

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while two 140mm PWM fans move air through the front panel. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. A Japanese main capacitor and an ultra-quiet 140mm PSU fan keep electrical noise low during sustained loads.

Storage Connectivity and Software

Dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drives deliver up to 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes alongside a 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache. The Z890M AORUS motherboard adds Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5Gbps LAN, USB4, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C and Realtek 7.1 surround audio. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm AIO liquid cooler in the North Tempered Glass White case, and which step do builders often miss?

Mount the 360mm radiator to the front using the two 140mm PWM fans, connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN header on the GIGABYTE Z890M AORUS ELITE WIFI7 board, and remember to remove the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it on the LGA 1851 socket.

Which components in this 128GB DDR5 system will need maintenance or replacement first?

The 360mm AIO pump and the two front 140mm PWM fans are the only moving parts; plan to inspect the pump for noise or flow loss after several years and clean dust from the radiator and front fans every 6 to 12 months.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the Core Ultra 9 285K with this cooling setup?

The 360mm Quiet Edition AIO will hit its thermal dissipation ceiling before the 24-core CPU reaches its 5.70 GHz boost ceiling, causing the processor to throttle once coolant temperature saturates under prolonged all-core load.
