24-Core i9-14900K Workstation

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD. Liquid cooling handles the CPU thermal load inside a CoolerMaster HAF 500 chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes WiFi6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2 connectivity.

Z790 Platform Limits

The GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS motherboard provides four DDR5 slots supporting up to 192GB total capacity. Storage expansion uses four M.2 connectors and six SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 support. Rear I/O includes one USB Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2, three USB 3.2 Gen 1, and four USB 2.0 ports alongside Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet.

8GB RTX 5060 Ti Upgrade Path

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB GPU targets 1440p gaming and entry-level creative workloads. Builders needing more VRAM for 4K textures or multi-GPU compute should consider a different graphics card. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU supplies overhead for a single higher-tier GPU swap without power-supply replacement.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32GB DDR5 configuration or upgrade toward the 192GB maximum?

The system ships with 32GB DDR5 across four slots. The Z790 board supports up to 192GB total, so you can add modules later if workloads demand more capacity.

What does the i9-14900K 6.00GHz boost mean for actual gaming and rendering?

The 24-core CPU reaches 6.00GHz max turbo with 36MB L3 cache. The 360mm liquid cooler sustains high clocks during long gaming or rendering sessions without thermal throttling.

Is the RTX 5060 Ti limited by PCIe 4.0 x4 or the 850W Bronze PSU?

The GPU runs on the motherboard PCIe 4.0 lanes. The Thermaltake 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit provides ample headroom for the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB and the overclocked i9-14900K together.
