24-Core Liquid-Cooled Gaming Workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop is built around a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor and a 360 mm liquid cooler. It targets creators and gamers who need high multi-threaded performance in a mid-tower chassis. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed and 64 GB of DDR5 memory.

Z790 Motherboard with Four DDR5 Slots

The Gigabyte Z790 AORUS board provides four memory slots supporting up to 192 GB total capacity. This lets you expand from the factory 64 GB without replacing modules. The platform also includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity alongside 2.5 Gb Ethernet.

4 TB Samsung 990 PRO and 850 W PSU

The bundled Samsung 990 PRO SSD delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s over PCIe 4.0 x4. The Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply includes a 140 mm fan and protections for over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit. Buyers needing more than 4 TB of fast storage or a higher-wattage PSU for multi-GPU setups should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 24-core i9-14900K perform once it is installed in this liquid-cooled system?

The 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K runs at a base frequency of 3.2 GHz and can boost up to 6.00 GHz. A 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check during sustained multi-threaded workloads.

What PCIe standard does the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO use, and what does that limit in practice?

The 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO connects via PCIe 4.0 x4, delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s; it will not reach PCIe 5.0 speeds even if the motherboard supports them.

What physical space and mounting points are required for the 360 mm liquid cooler in the CoolerMaster HAF 500 case?

The 360 mm AIO radiator mounts in the CoolerMaster HAF 500 mid-tower case, which measures 508 mm deep, 203 mm wide and 508 mm high and provides the necessary fan clearance for the three 120 mm radiator fans.
