24-Core Liquid-Cooled Workstation

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and an 8TB NVMe array feed data to the GPU without bottlenecking. A secondary 10TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for project archives. The system targets creators and engineers who need sustained multi-thread throughput alongside modern graphics performance.

360mm AIO and 850W Bronze PSU

A 360mm quiet-edition liquid cooler keeps the CPU near its 3.7GHz base clock and 5.70GHz boost ceiling without audible pump whine. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit delivers stable rails with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Case airflow uses two 140mm PWM front fans behind a tempered-glass side panel. Acoustic output remains low during typical rendering or gaming loads.

Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and Front USB 3.2 Gen 2x2

The Gigabyte Z890M AORUS motherboard adds Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 2x2 and Bluetooth 5.4 for high-speed wireless peripherals. Front-panel I/O includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports and dual audio jacks. Rear I/O supplies one USB4 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 connectors. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed and activated.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler on the LGA 1851 socket, and which step is most often missed?

Mount the supplied bracket for LGA 1851, apply thermal paste, seat the cold plate, then connect the pump header and the three 140 mm radiator fans to the motherboard fan headers; the step most often missed is plugging the pump into the dedicated AIO_PUMP header instead of a standard CPU_FAN header.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360mm liquid cooler and the 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU need later?

The sealed 360mm AIO requires no coolant refill; plan to clean the radiator fins and replace the three 140 mm fans if they become noisy after several years, and replace the PSU only if its fan fails or voltages drift out of spec.

What limit appears first when the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K runs at 5.70 GHz under sustained load?

The 360mm liquid cooler's thermal capacity becomes the limiting factor before the CPU hits its thermal junction maximum, causing the processor to throttle from its 5.70 GHz boost to maintain safe temperatures.
