24-Core Intel Ultra 9 Workstation

This desktop combines a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It targets professionals who need high multi-threaded throughput for rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed on a 4TB NVMe SSD and includes a 10TB hard drive for bulk storage.

Upgrade from slower multi-core rigs

The 24-core CPU reaches up to 5.70 GHz with 36 MB of L3 cache, while the RTX 5080 provides 16GB of video memory for GPU-accelerated tasks. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps thermals in check during sustained loads. The jump is worth it when older workstations bottleneck on core count, memory bandwidth or GPU VRAM during complex scenes or large dataset training.

128GB DDR5 and 4TB NVMe headroom

Four memory slots support a maximum of 192 GB, leaving room for future expansion beyond the factory 128 GB. The Samsung 990 PRO SSD delivers read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec for fast project loading. The 10TB hard drive adds deep capacity for archives. Workflows that exceed 192 GB RAM or need faster-than-PCIe 4.0 storage will outgrow this configuration.

Questions about this item

What case dimensions and internal drive bays does the Corsair 4000D Series chassis provide?

The mid-tower case measures 490 mm deep by 239 mm wide by 486 mm high and includes two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal bays for the 10 TB HDD and any extra SSDs.

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step do builders often miss?

The AIO radiator screws to the top of the Corsair 4000D using the included 140 mm fans; the step people forget is connecting the pump header and the fan PWM cables to the correct Z890 UD headers before closing the panel.

Which storage components will need replacement first and what are their rated speeds?

The 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD is rated at 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write; the 10 TB HDD with 256 MB cache is the mechanical part most likely to wear out over time.
