Workstation for SolidWorks CAD CAM CAE

This desktop is built for engineers and designers running SolidWorks CAD CAM CAE workloads. A 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and 32GB DDR5 memory handle complex modelling tasks. The Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU with 16GB video memory accelerates viewport performance. Windows 11 Pro provides a stable professional environment.

Liquid cooling with quiet 140mm PSU fan

A 360mm AIO Quiet Edition liquid cooler manages CPU thermals under sustained load. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses a Japanese main capacitor and an ultra-quiet 140mm fan. Protection circuits cover over voltage, under voltage, over power and short circuit. The mid-tower Corsair 4000D case promotes airflow with tempered glass panels.

4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD

The primary drive is a 4TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe SSD rated for sequential read up to 7450 MB/s and write up to 6900 MB/s. A 10TB HDD with 256MB cache adds bulk storage for project archives. Four M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports on the Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE motherboard allow further expansion. Buyers who need more than 4TB of high-speed NVMe capacity should plan additional drives.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler mounted in the Corsair 4000D case, and which step do builders often miss?

The 360 mm radiator fits the top of the Corsair 4000D; the step many miss is removing the top dust filter first so the fans and radiator clear the motherboard heatsinks.

What maintenance or replacement will the 360 mm AIO and the 850 W PSU need later?

The AIO is a sealed loop and requires no coolant service; plan to replace the PSU fan if bearing noise appears after several years.

Which limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the Ultra 9 285K with this cooler?

The CPU will hit its thermal throttle point before the 360 mm radiator saturates, so clock speeds drop to protect the 24-core processor.
