24-Core Workstation for Rendering and AI

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and 64GB of DDR5 memory. It targets professionals who need strong multi-threaded compute for rendering, modelling and AI learning workloads in a single system. Liquid cooling and an 850W power supply support sustained high loads.

Samsung 990 PRO SSD and High-Airflow Case

The 2TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 drive delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, cutting load times for large project files. The Ceres 300 case adds front and rear 140mm fans at 1500rpm and 30dBA, plus a 360mm AIO cooler, keeping thermals stable during long compute sessions.

PCIe 4.0 Storage Ceiling and Four-DIMM Limit

The motherboard provides four M.2 connectors but all operate at PCIe 4.0 speeds, so newer PCIe 5.0 drives would run at the older standard. Memory tops out at 192GB across the four DDR5 slots, so buyers who want more storage bandwidth or higher RAM capacity must look beyond this platform.

Questions about this item

Will the 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD need replacement after heavy write workloads?

The 990 PRO is rated for sustained writes up to 6900 MB/sec and its endurance scales with the 2TB capacity, so typical gaming and content-creation workloads will not wear it out for many years.

What limits the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K first during all-day rendering?

The 24-core CPU reaches its maximum 5.70 GHz boost clock under load, and the 360 mm liquid cooler manages the resulting heat, so thermal throttling is the first sustained-use limit.

How loud is the Ceres 300 case with the 140 mm fans and 360 mm AIO running continuously?

Front and rear 140 mm fans run at 1500 rpm producing 30 dBA each, and the 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for low noise, so overall system noise stays at a quiet office level.
