24-Core Workstation for Rendering and AI

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provide capacity for large datasets. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed on a Z890 TUF motherboard.

Liquid Cooling and 1200W Gold Power

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU while front and rear 140mm case fans run at 1500rpm and 30dBA each. The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W 80 PLUS Gold unit uses Japanese main capacitors and includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gbps LAN are integrated on the motherboard.

Sustained Load on 32GB GPU Memory

The RTX 5090 brings 32GB of video memory for extended rendering, modelling and AI learning sessions. CPU boost reaches up to 5.70 GHz with 36MB L3 cache available during prolonged compute workloads. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports allow storage expansion without opening the 475 x 245 x 463 mm mid-tower case.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed, and which step do builders often miss?

The cooler mounts to the LGA 1851 socket on the Z890 motherboard; the step often missed is connecting the pump header and ARGB cable before seating the radiator in the Ceres 300 case.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU need later?

The 140mm PSU fan is the only moving part; after several years of continuous load it may require cleaning or a fan swap to keep noise at 30dBA.

What limit appears first when the RTX 5090 32GB runs sustained AI workloads?

The 1200W power budget and 360mm radiator capacity become the limiting factors before the GPU reaches its thermal ceiling.
