Professional Workstation Build

The Adamant Custom desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K with an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU for SolidWorks, CAD, CAM and CAE modelling workloads. A 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable during extended simulation runs. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed on a 1 TB NVMe drive.

Bundled Storage and Cooling Impact

A 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache adds bulk project storage without consuming an M.2 slot. The Samsung 990 PRO SSD delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds for active datasets. Four memory slots remain free to expand DDR5 capacity toward the 192 GB maximum.

Interface and Platform Limits

The Gigabyte Z890 UD motherboard provides 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E AX211 connectivity. Rear I/O includes USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Four SATA 6 Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 arrays while four M.2 connectors share PCIe 4.0 lanes.

Questions about this item

How often will the 360mm AIO liquid cooler need maintenance or coolant replacement?

The sealed 360mm Quiet Edition AIO is designed for the life of the CPU and does not require coolant refills; only occasional dust removal from the radiator fins is needed.

Which component hits its limit first during sustained all-core workloads on the 24-core Ultra 9 285K?

The CPU package power limit and the 360mm AIO thermal capacity will throttle the 5.70 GHz boost before the 850W PSU or motherboard VRM reach their limits.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 850W Bronze PSU and 360mm AIO when the system runs all day?

The 140mm PSU fan and three 120mm AIO fans run at low RPM under load; the case sound-dampening panels keep acoustic output low while exhaust air stays warm but manageable.
