64-Core Threadripper Workstation

This liquid-cooled tower pairs a 64-core AMD Threadripper 9980X processor with 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and an Nvidia RTX 5070 graphics card. It is built for professionals who need sustained multi-threaded compute and GPU acceleration in a single Windows 11 Pro system.

360mm Liquid Cooling and 1200W Gold PSU

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cooler handles the CPU thermal load while a 140mm fan in the 80 PLUS Gold power supply keeps internal airflow low-noise. The 1200W unit delivers stable power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection for continuous workloads.

TRX50 Platform with 10GbE and Expandable Storage

The Gigabyte TRX50 AERO D motherboard provides dual USB4 Type-C ports, four M.2 slots and eight SATA 6Gb/s connectors alongside a Marvell AQC113C 10GbE LAN port. The Corsair 5000D Frame case offers two 3.5-inch and four 2.5-inch internal bays for additional drives.

Questions about this item

How is the 360 mm liquid cooler installed, and what step is often missed?

The 360 mm AIO cooler mounts to the sTR5 socket on the GIGABYTE TRX50 AERO D motherboard; the step often missed is applying thermal paste evenly across the large 64-core Threadripper heat spreader before securing the cold plate.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1200 W power supply need later?

The Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU uses a 140 mm fan and Japanese main capacitors; expect to clean dust from the fan intake periodically and replace the unit if capacitor aging causes voltage instability after several years.

What limit appears first when the 64-core Threadripper 9980X runs sustained workloads?

The 360 mm liquid cooler must dissipate heat from 64 cores boosting up to 5.4 GHz; under continuous full-load the coolant temperature rises until the radiator fans hit maximum speed, making thermal capacity the first bottleneck.
