8-Core Liquid-Cooled Ryzen 9700X Workstation

This Adamant Custom desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 9700X processor running at 3.8GHz with 128GB of DDR5 memory and a 240mm liquid cooler. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on an 8TB NVMe array backed by a 10TB hard drive. The GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card delivers 12GB of video memory for creative and gaming workloads.

Creators needing high memory and fast storage

The 128GB DDR5 capacity and 8TB NVMe SSD suit video editors, 3D artists and developers who work with large project files. The 10TB hard drive adds deep archival space without a separate NAS. Buyers who need more than 192GB of total system memory or multiple graphics cards should consider a different platform.

128GB DDR5 memory ceiling

Four DDR5 slots support up to 192GB, so the installed 128GB leaves room for a future upgrade. The X870 motherboard provides two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet for modern connectivity. The 750W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply runs the complete build including the liquid cooler and RTX 5070.

Questions about this item

What case dimensions and motherboard form factor must the build fit into?

The Antec P20 mid-tower measures 469 mm deep, 220 mm wide and 490 mm high and accepts ATX motherboards such as the PRIME X870-P used here.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The 240 mm radiator attaches to the case fan mounts with the supplied brackets; the step many skip is connecting the pump header to the CPU_FAN connector on the motherboard so speed control works.

Which storage drives may need replacement first and what are their capacities?

The two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSDs and the single 10 TB HDD are the only drives installed; SSDs typically outlast the mechanical drive, so the HDD is the most likely future replacement.
