Core specification

This system is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor running at 4.7 GHz with a 5.20 GHz boost. It includes 64 GB of DDR5 memory, an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card with 16 GB VRAM, and 8 TB of NVMe storage across two Samsung 990 PRO drives. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Best-fit buyers

Content creators and engineers who need strong single-thread speed, large memory capacity, and fast local storage for rendering or simulation workloads will benefit from this configuration. Buyers who require ECC memory support, dual-GPU scaling, or more than 192 GB of RAM should evaluate workstation-class platforms instead.

Deciding specification

The 8 TB NVMe array using two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives delivers sequential reads up to 7 450 MB/s and writes up to 6 900 MB/s, removing storage throughput as a bottleneck for large project files and asset libraries.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service?

The sealed 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is maintenance-free for its service life; no coolant top-ups or pump servicing are required.

What limits the Ryzen 7 9800X3D first during prolonged all-core workloads?

The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU and 240 mm radiator set the sustained power and thermal ceiling before the CPU hits its 5.20 GHz boost ceiling.

How loud is the system when the 200 mm front fans and 140 mm PSU fan run continuously?

The CoolerMaster HAF 500 uses two 200 mm ARGB front fans, a 120 mm rear fan and a 140 mm PSU fan, all designed for low-noise operation under load.
