Workstation for CAD and AI

This business desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 memory and an 8TB NVMe array support large assemblies and training datasets. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and includes Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Sustained load behaviour

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable during long renders or simulations. The Thermaltake 850W power supply delivers continuous power with over-voltage and short-circuit protection. Dual 4TB Samsung 990 PRO drives maintain sequential read speeds up to 7450 MB/sec and write speeds up to 6900 MB/sec under extended workloads.

Build quality and daily connections

The Corsair 4000D tempered-glass chassis offers internal bays for two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. Rear I/O provides two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, three 10Gbps USB ports, four 5Gbps USB ports and one USB 2.0 port. Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Realtek 7.1 surround audio complete the daily interface.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 240 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan get when the Ryzen 7 9800X3D runs at 4.7 GHz all day?

The CPU uses a 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the 850 W PSU has a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan, so noise stays low even under sustained load.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need for the RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell?

The GPU connects via PCI Express x16; you must supply a monitor with the matching DisplayPort or HDMI inputs the card provides.

Can I keep my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5″ hard drives inside the Corsair 4000D case?

Yes, the case has two 3.5″ and two 2.5″ internal bays, and the motherboard offers two SATA 6 Gb/s ports for older drives.
