16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D desktop for AI

This gaming desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD. A 360mm liquid cooler and a 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply complete the build inside an Antec P20 tempered-glass case.

Suits modellers, editors and AI developers.

The 16-core CPU and RTX 5080 GPU target 3D modelling, video editing, rendering and AI workloads that benefit from high thread counts and GPU compute. The mid-tower chassis and 360mm radiator need adequate case space, so builders planning a small-form-factor system should look elsewhere.

Check AM5 motherboard clearance

Verify that your workspace fits a 469mm deep, 490mm high mid-tower with a 360mm radiator mounted on the top or front. Confirm the AM5 platform matches any existing upgrade path and that the 1000W Gold-rated unit covers the full system load before ordering.

Questions about this item

What display outputs does the RTX 5080 provide for my monitors?

The GeForce RTX 5080 16GB card includes DisplayPort and HDMI ports supporting up to 4K at high refresh rates and 8K output, letting you connect modern gaming displays directly.

Will my existing SATA SSDs and hard drives work with the X870 motherboard?

Yes, the Gigabyte X870 AORUS board provides four SATA 6Gb/s ports so any 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drive you keep can be installed in the case bays.

How can I verify the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 9 9950X3D at safe temperatures?

Open the BIOS or a hardware-monitoring tool in Windows 11 Pro and confirm the CPU package temperature stays well below the 95 °C throttle point under load.
