Workstation desktop for CAD and AI

This business desktop ships as a complete workstation for SolidWorks modelling and AI learning tasks. A 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor and 64GB DDR5 memory provide the compute base. An Nvidia RTX A400 graphics card with four Mini DisplayPort outputs drives multiple displays. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed.

Upgrade from entry workstations

The jump is worth it when projects exceed the memory or GPU limits of basic office towers. Four M.2 slots on the X870 motherboard allow future storage expansion. The 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained loads. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5G Ethernet give flexible network options.

4TB NVMe plus 10TB HDD capacity

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for active project files. The 10TB hard drive with 256MB cache stores archives and bulk datasets. Total memory can grow to 192GB across four slots. The 4GB RTX A400 frame buffer limits very large assemblies or high-resolution rendering.

Questions about this item

What case size and motherboard form factor does the Antec P20 chassis support?

The Antec P20 mid-tower measures 469 x 220 x 490 mm and accepts E-ATX motherboards such as the included PRIME X870-P.

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler mounted, and what step is often missed?

The 240 mm AIO radiator attaches to the case with its two 120 mm fans; the step people miss is connecting the pump header and any RGB cable to the motherboard before closing the panel.

Which storage drives can be added later, and how many bays are free?

The case provides two 3.5"/2.5" bays and two 2.5" bays; the 4 TB NVMe occupies one M.2 slot and the 10 TB HDD uses one 3.5" bay, leaving three bays and three M.2 slots for future drives.
