Workstation Core Ultra 5 245K

This business desktop delivers a 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 245K processor with a 4.2 GHz base frequency and liquid cooling. It targets engineers and designers running SolidWorks, CAD modelling and AI workloads. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and 64 GB of DDR5 memory for immediate productivity.

Upgrade From Older Workstations

The configuration replaces ageing towers that lack PCI Express x16 graphics bandwidth, 2.5G Ethernet or Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The jump is worth it when projects demand 32 GB GPU memory on the Nvidia RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell and fast NVMe storage for large assemblies. Legacy platforms without DDR5 support or Thunderbolt 4 ports will bottleneck these tasks.

Build Integration Needs

The Antec P20 mid-tower provides 240 mm liquid cooling clearance and a Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports allow further storage expansion beyond the 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO and 10 TB HDD. Front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and rear Thunderbolt 4 simplify peripheral attachment without extra adapters.
