Suits Multi-Display Production

Editors and analysts who need four simultaneous DisplayPort feeds and large local storage will use every drive bay and GPU port. Buyers who want more storage bays than the two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch slots provide should look at larger enclosures.

20-Core 3.9GHz Processor

The Intel Core Ultra 7 265K delivers 20 cores and 20 threads with a 30MB L3 cache and up to 5.50GHz boost on the LGA 1851 platform, setting the compute ceiling for every workload this system runs.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4 TB NVMe SSD or the 10 TB HDD as my primary drive?

Use the 4 TB NVMe SSD for the operating system and active projects — its PCIe 4.0 x4 interface delivers up to 7 450 MB/s read and 6 900 MB/s write. Keep the 10 TB HDD for bulk archives and backups.

What does the 20-core Core Ultra 7 265K actually deliver in this workstation?

Twenty cores and twenty threads run at a 3.9 GHz base with a 5.50 GHz maximum turbo, backed by 30 MB L3 cache and a 240 mm liquid cooler for sustained multi-threaded workloads.

How fast is the Thunderbolt 4 port on the Z890 motherboard?

The rear Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connector provides 40 Gbps bandwidth for external NVMe enclosures, high-resolution displays or daisy-chained peripherals.
