Business Desktop for CAD and Modelling

This mid-tower workstation ships with a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K and 64 GB of DDR5 memory, targeting engineers who run SolidWorks, CAM or CAE workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the system is described as AI Ready for local inference tasks.

Storage and GPU combination

A 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides up to 7450 MB/s reads for active project files, while a 10 TB HDD with 256 MB cache holds larger archives. The Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell adds 96 GB of GPU memory, letting large assemblies stay in video memory without paging to system RAM.

96 GB GPU memory decides fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 96 GB frame buffer on the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell; models that exceed this capacity will spill to slower memory. Buyers whose datasets fit within 96 GB can work entirely in GPU memory, while those needing more must consider a different graphics configuration.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler need its coolant replaced during the life of this workstation?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit; no coolant replacement is scheduled, though dust should be cleared from its radiator fans periodically.

Which component hits its limit first when the i9-14900K runs at 6.00 GHz on all 24 cores for hours?

The CPU package power draw reaches the cooler’s thermal capacity before the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU or the 96 GB GPU memory become bottlenecks.

How loud is the system when the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell and i9-14900K are both under full load all day?

The Antec P10 FLUX case uses sound-dampening panels and a 140 mm PSU fan rated for ultra-quiet operation, keeping noise low even at sustained load.
