Workstation for SolidWorks modelling

This business desktop targets engineers who run SolidWorks, CAD, CAM or CAE workloads and need a factory-assembled system that is ready for heavy modelling tasks. The 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K and Nvidia RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU provide the compute and graphics headroom those applications demand.

32 GB DDR5 and 24 GB GPU memory

The 32 GB of DDR5 system memory and 24 GB of dedicated GPU memory let large assemblies stay resident without swapping to storage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and the motherboard includes Wi-Fi 6 plus 2.5 Gb Ethernet for network flexibility.

4 TB NVMe plus 10 TB HDD storage

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write for active project files, while the 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache holds archives and backups. Four M.2 slots and six SATA ports allow further expansion, but the 850 W power supply limits additional high-wattage cards.

Questions about this item

When will the Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVMe SSD need replacement?

The Samsung 990 PRO 4TB NVMe SSD is rated for up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write speeds. Under typical workloads it will last many years; monitor SMART health data in Windows 11 Pro for wear-level indicators.

What limits the Intel Core i9-14900K during sustained all-core workloads?

The 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K can boost up to 6.00 GHz, but sustained all-core loads are constrained by the 360 mm liquid cooler thermal capacity and the 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU delivery.

How loud and hot does the system get when running all day?

The 360 mm Quiet Edition liquid cooler uses a 140 mm ultra-quiet fan; front 120 mm intake fans and the 850W PSU's 140 mm fan keep noise low. Liquid cooling maintains CPU temperatures well under sustained load.
