Workstation Desktop Overview

This business desktop pairs a 14-core Intel Core Ultra 5 245K processor with 32GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU. It targets engineers and designers who need certified drivers for SolidWorks modelling and local AI inference. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro and a 240mm liquid cooler for sustained workloads.

Bundled Component Impact

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive provides fast boot and project loading, while the 10TB HDD adds deep archival capacity for large assemblies. WiFi7 and Bluetooth5.4 connect modern peripherals without cables, and the Z890 motherboard exposes Thunderbolt 4 plus multiple 10Gbps and 5Gbps USB ports for external storage arrays. A quiet 850W Bronze PSU powers the full configuration.

Capacity and Headroom

Memory can be expanded to 192GB across four slots, giving headroom for bigger datasets or virtual machines. The 16GB GPU frame buffer handles complex viewports and moderate rendering jobs, but heavier simulation or multi-GPU render farms will exceed its VRAM. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports remain available for further storage growth.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is a sealed unit; no coolant replacement or pump service is required during its normal lifespan.

Which component hits its thermal limit first during long rendering sessions?

The Intel Core Ultra 5 245K CPU reaches its thermal ceiling before the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell GPU under sustained all-core loads.

How loud and hot does the system get when running 24/7?

The Antec P10 FLUX case with sound-dampening panels and four 120 mm fans plus a 140 mm PSU fan keeps noise low, while the 240 mm AIO and 850 W Bronze PSU manage heat for continuous operation.
