Workstation for CAD and AI

This business desktop pairs an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell graphics card carrying 48GB of video memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and is configured for SolidWorks modelling and AI learning workloads.

Liquid-cooled build on X870

A 240mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the Thermaltake 850W power supply delivers 80 PLUS Bronze rated power. The TUF X870-PLUS motherboard provides USB4 at 40Gbps, multiple 10Gbps and 5Gbps USB ports, four M.2 slots and two 3.5-inch drive bays already occupied by a 2TB NVMe SSD and a 10TB hard drive.

Suits engineers needing 48GB GPU memory

Buyers who require more than 192GB of system memory or additional internal 3.5-inch bays beyond the two provided should consider other configurations. The fixed 850W power supply also limits future upgrades that demand substantially higher wattage.

Questions about this item

How long can the Ryzen 7 9800X3D sustain 5.20 GHz under full load with the 240 mm liquid cooler?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO is rated for the CPU's 8-core thermal output; sustained 5.20 GHz boost depends on workload and ambient temperature.

What is the typical noise level of the 140 mm PSU fan and 120 mm case fans when the system runs continuously?

The Thermaltake 850 W unit uses an ultra-quiet 140 mm fan; combined with two front and one rear 120 mm RGB fans, idle noise stays low and rises only under heavy GPU load.

Does the X870-PLUS motherboard require a separate Wi-Fi antenna for the integrated Wi-Fi 7 module to function?

Yes, the board includes Wi-Fi 7 2x2 but ships without external antennas; you must attach the supplied antenna kit for wireless operation.
