Liquid-cooled desktop for creators

This new desktop combines a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 32GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU at sustainable speeds during long renders or compiles. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 10TB hard drive for project storage.

Suits AI development and 4K editing.

The Z790 motherboard provides four memory slots supporting up to 192GB total, three M.2 connectors and 2.5Gb Ethernet with Wi-Fi 6 and BLUETOOTH 5.2. The Corsair 4000D case measures 490 x 239 x 486 mm and requires desk space for its tempered-glass footprint. Buyers needing a smaller chassis or a single-slot GPU should consider other form factors.

32GB RTX 5090 drives GPU memory-bound workloads

The graphics card delivers 32GB of video memory, which is the decisive spec for large-language-model inference, high-resolution texture baking and multi-monitor 4K output. A 1200W 80 PLUS Gold power supply with Japanese capacitors feeds the full system. If your workflow fits within less VRAM, a lower-tier card will reduce cost and power draw.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid CPU cooler and which step do people get wrong?

Mount the 360 mm radiator so the tubes enter at the bottom, then secure the pump block on the LGA 1700 socket with the supplied brackets — the step most people get wrong is orienting the radiator with tubes at the top, which traps air and kills flow.

What maintenance or replacement will the 1200 W 80 PLUS Gold PSU need later?

The PSU uses a high-quality Japanese main capacitor and a 140 mm fan; plan to clean dust from the fan intake annually and expect the unit to run its rated life without capacitor replacement.

What limit shows up first under sustained load on the RTX 5090 32 GB?

The GPU power target and the 360 mm AIO capacity set the ceiling — once the liquid hits equilibrium temperature the card throttles clocks before the 1200 W PSU or CPU thermal limits are reached.
