Questions about this item

How much DDR5 memory does the system ship with and how far can I expand it later?

It arrives with 32 GB of DDR5 and the Z790 motherboard supports up to 192 GB across four slots.

What does the RTX 5070's 12 GB of video memory mean for actual gameplay?

The 12 GB frame buffer lets the card hold high-resolution textures and ray-tracing data at 1440p ultra settings and makes 4K gaming viable with quality upscaling modes, reducing the need to lower texture detail in current titles.

Which PCIe generation does the 4 TB SSD use and what speed ceiling does that impose?

The Samsung 990 PRO runs on PCIe 4.0 x4, delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, so the drive itself — not the bus — sets the practical limit.
