System Overview

This Adamant Custom gaming desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 128GB of DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. It targets creators and gamers who need high multi-threaded throughput plus ray-tracing-capable 1080p or 1440p performance in a single pre-built chassis.

Thermals and Power

A 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while two front 140 mm fans and one rear 140 mm fan each run at 1500 rpm and 30 dBA. The Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses Japanese main capacitors and provides over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection.

Storage Decider

The boot drive is a 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe SSD rated for 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write, supplemented by a 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache. Buyers who want more than 12 TB of combined high-speed and bulk storage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed and what step do people get wrong?

The AIO cooler comes pre-filled and is mounted to the LGA 1851 socket on the Z890 TUF motherboard; the common mistake is forgetting to remove the protective film from the cold-plate before securing the block.

What maintenance or replacement will the 10TB HDD need later?

The 10TB 3.5-inch drive with 256MB cache is a mechanical component; plan to replace it after several years of continuous operation when SMART data shows reallocated sectors or audible bearing noise.

What limit shows up first under sustained use?

The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU will hit its 850-watt ceiling before the CPU or GPU throttle, capping total system draw during prolonged heavy loads.
