Core Ultra 9 285K workstation

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card in a liquid-cooled mid-tower chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets creators and gamers who need high single-thread speed plus 32 GB of DDR5 memory for parallel workloads.

Storage capacity and headroom

A 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive delivers up to 7 450 MB/s reads and 6 900 MB/s writes for active projects, while a 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache stores bulk archives. Four M.2 slots and four SATA ports on the Z890 motherboard allow future expansion up to the board's 192 GB memory ceiling.

Bundled connectivity and cooling

The Gigabyte Z890 UD motherboard adds Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and a rear USB4 Type-C port alongside multiple USB 3.2 and 2.0 connections. A 360 mm quiet-edition AIO cooler and a 1 200 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply keep the 24-core CPU and RTX 5090 stable under sustained load.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA SSDs and 3.5-inch hard drives fit inside the Corsair 4000D case alongside the installed 10TB drive?

The case provides two internal 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays. The motherboard also includes four SATA 6Gb/s ports that support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 for additional drives.

How can I verify the liquid cooler is running correctly after I power on the system?

The 360mm Quiet Edition AIO uses a 140mm fan. Check that the fan spins, listen for pump noise, and monitor CPU temperatures in BIOS or Windows — the Core Ultra 9 285K should idle well below its 5.70 GHz boost ceiling.

Which cables and accessories are included in the box, and what must I supply myself?

The desktop ships with Windows 11 Pro installed, the Corsair 4000D case, 1200W 80 PLUS Gold PSU, 360mm liquid cooler, 32GB DDR5, 4TB Samsung 990 PRO SSD, 10TB HDD and RTX 5090 32GB GPU. You only need to provide a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
