Built for AI workloads and 4K gaming

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 64GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB graphics card. A 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and a 10TB hard drive provide fast boot and deep storage. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and is marketed as AI Ready for local inference tasks.

360 mm liquid cooler and 850 W Bronze PSU

A 360 mm Quiet Edition AIO handles CPU thermals while a 140 mm fan inside the Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze supply keeps internal airflow low-noise. The Corsair 4000D chassis offers tempered glass panels and internal bays for two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drives. Protection circuits guard against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit events.

Gigabyte Z890 UD motherboard

The board adds USB4 Type-C, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 ports front and rear. Four M.2 slots and four SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 support allow further storage expansion. Realtek 7.1 surround audio and the AX211 wireless module complete the connectivity package.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the Corsair 4000D top panel with fans as intake, connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN socket on the Gigabyte Z890 UD, and remember to remove the protective film from the cold plate before seating it on the Core Ultra 9 285K.

Which components will need replacement first and when?

The 140 mm PSU fan and the AIO pump are the only moving parts; expect the fan to last 5–7 years and the pump 4–6 years under normal gaming loads.

What thermal limit appears first during a long render on the Core Ultra 9 285K?

The 360 mm liquid cooler typically hits its coolant-temperature ceiling before the CPU reaches its maximum turbo frequency, so sustained clocks settle below the 5.70 GHz single-core peak.
