Liquid-cooled Ryzen 5 workstation

This desktop pairs a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor with a 240 mm liquid cooler and 128 GB of DDR5 memory. The configuration targets creators and professionals who need sustained multi-thread throughput for rendering, compilation or data-analysis workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a 1 TB NVMe drive.

750 W Bronze PSU with 140 mm fan

A Thermaltake Smart 750 W 80 PLUS Bronze unit supplies power through a single 140 mm cooling fan rated for low noise. The motherboard uses a PRIME X870-P chipset with rear-panel USB4 40 Gbps ports, 2.5 Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The Corsair 4000D chassis measures 490 x 239 x 486 mm and includes tempered-glass side panels.

Samsung 990 PRO plus 10 TB hard drive

The boot drive is a Samsung 990 PRO 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD rated for 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. A 10 TB mechanical drive with 256 MB cache adds bulk storage for project archives or media libraries. The RTX 5060 8 GB GPU connects via PCI Express x16 and drives Realtek 7.1 surround audio through HDMI or DisplayPort outputs.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler on the AM5 socket, and which mounting step is most often missed?

The cooler ships pre-filled; attach the AM5 retention bracket to the motherboard back-plate, spread a pea-sized dot of paste on the 9600X heat-spreader, seat the pump block, then tighten the four thumb-screws in a cross pattern — the step most builders skip is removing the clear plastic film from the cold-plate before mounting.

What maintenance will the 240 mm liquid cooler and 10 TB hard drive need after a year of daily use?

The sealed AIO loop requires no refill; wipe dust from the 140 mm radiator fan and the Corsair 4000D front filter every six months, and run a SMART check on the 10 TB drive annually — replace the drive if reallocated sectors appear.

Which component hits its limit first during an all-core rendering load that runs for hours?

The 9600X 6-core CPU will throttle at its 5.40 GHz boost ceiling long before the RTX 5060 8 GB VRAM or the 750 W Bronze PSU reach their sustained-output limits.
