Custom Gaming Desktop — Ryzen 7 9700X

This new desktop PC pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor with 64GB DDR5 memory, a 2TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card. A 240mm liquid cooler and an 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply keep the system stable under heavy loads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited to 4K gaming and creative workloads

The 8-core CPU at 3.8GHz base clock and 16GB GPU frame buffer handle modern titles at high settings and demanding media tasks such as video editing or 3D rendering. Buyers who need more than 64GB memory, multiple graphics cards or additional internal 3.5in drive bays should consider a different chassis or platform.

64GB DDR5 memory with four slots

The board provides four DDR5 slots populated to 64GB and supports up to 192GB total. This capacity decides whether the system can run large datasets or heavy multitasking without an immediate upgrade. The memory type is DDR5; no other generation is compatible.

Questions about this item

How is the 240 mm liquid cooler installed, and what step do builders often miss?

The cooler mounts to the AM5 socket on the PRIME X870-P board; the step often missed is connecting the pump header and the 140 mm fan header so the AIO runs at the correct speed curve.

What maintenance or replacement will the liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 240 mm AIO is maintenance-free; if the pump ever fails the whole unit must be replaced, and the 140 mm radiator fan can be swapped independently.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy loads?

The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU will hit its continuous power ceiling before the 240 mm radiator can dissipate more heat from the Ryzen 7 9700X and Radeon RX 9070 XT.
