System Identity

The Adamant Custom desktop is a new 2026 workstation aimed at professionals who need heavy multi-threaded compute and large local datasets. It pairs an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 192GB of DDR5 memory, a 1TB NVMe boot drive and a 10TB hard drive. Liquid cooling and an 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply support sustained loads in a Corsair 4000D chassis.

Deciding Specification

The single specification that determines fit is the 192GB DDR5 capacity, which matches the motherboard's maximum supported memory. Four slots are populated at the 192GB ceiling, so no further RAM expansion is possible. Buyers who need more memory than 192GB must choose a different platform.

Thermals and Power

A 240mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while a 140mm fan in the power supply keeps system airflow low-noise. The 850W Bronze unit delivers protected power with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit safeguards. In normal operation the cooling arrangement maintains quiet acoustics without requiring additional case fans.

Questions about this item

How does the 192 GB DDR5 capacity behave when the board already reports that maximum?

The PRIME X870-P motherboard supports up to 192 GB, so all four slots are populated at the rated limit with no headroom for further expansion.

What does the PCI Express x16 link mean for the RTX 5070 in this chassis?

The graphics card runs on a full x16 PCIe 4.0 connection from the CPU, delivering the bandwidth the GPU expects without sharing lanes with the M.2 slots.

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and RTX 5070 both fit inside the Corsair 4000D case?

Yes — the case measures 490 x 239 x 486 mm and provides standard ATX motherboard clearance plus room for a 240 mm radiator and full-length graphics card.
