Customisable 12-core workstation

This desktop ships with a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor, 128 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU at temperature while the RTX 5060 graphics card handles visual workloads. The system arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed and contains no pre-loaded bloatware.

PCIe 4.0 storage and GPU limits

The Samsung 990 PRO SSD connects through a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot, delivering sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s. The graphics card occupies a PCI Express x16 slot and provides 8 GB of video memory. Four memory slots are populated, leaving no free DIMM sockets for immediate expansion.

Upgrades from lower-core or air-cooled builds

Builders moving from 8-core or air-cooled machines gain two additional cores, higher boost clocks and quieter thermal performance. The jump is worthwhile when workloads use all 24 threads or when sustained clocks matter. Buyers who need more than 1 TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should plan a different chassis.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 128 GB DDR5 configuration or upgrade to the 192 GB maximum supported by the motherboard?

The system ships with 128 GB DDR5 across four slots; the PRIME X870-P board supports up to 192 GB if your workloads need more capacity.

What does the Ryzen 9 9900X3D's 5.50 GHz boost clock deliver in daily use?

The 12-core CPU reaches 5.50 GHz on light threads, giving snappy response in games and compile jobs while the 240 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures steady.

How fast is the Samsung 990 PRO over the PCIe 4.0 x4 link?

The 1 TB drive is rated for 7450 MB/s reads and 6900 MB/s writes, so large project loads and game level streaming stay quick.
