System overview

This Adamant Custom gaming desktop is a new mid-tower workstation built around a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and 128GB of DDR5 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a liquid-cooled CPU, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card for gaming and media workloads.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your workspace can accommodate a case measuring 475mm deep, 245mm wide and 463mm high with a 360mm radiator mounted internally. The motherboard provides Thunderbolt 4, USB 20Gbps and 10Gbps ports, four M.2 slots and four SATA connectors for additional drives. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply uses a 140mm fan and includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection.

Ideal buyer

Suits creators and gamers who want a liquid-cooled 24-core system with 128GB DDR5, a 4TB NVMe boot drive and 10TB of hard-disk storage in a single mid-tower chassis. Not for buyers who need a smaller footprint, a higher-wattage power supply, or a graphics card with more video memory than the 8GB fitted here.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Adamant Custom Ultra 9 285K desktop and what must I buy separately?

The system ships fully assembled with the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU, 128GB DDR5 memory, 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD, 10TB HDD, RTX 5060 8GB graphics card, 360mm liquid CPU cooler, Windows 11 Pro, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Only a monitor, keyboard and mouse need to be added.

How do I choose between the 4TB NVMe SSD and the 10TB HDD for my workload?

Use the 4TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive for the operating system, applications and active project files — it delivers up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. Keep the 10TB HDD with 256MB cache for bulk media, backups and archives that do not need SSD speed.

What does the 5.70 GHz maximum turbo on the Ultra 9 285K mean once the PC is running real workloads?

The 24-core processor can boost up to 5.70 GHz on active cores while the 360mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check, so single-threaded tasks such as game logic or light CAD see peak frequency, while sustained all-core loads settle at lower speeds within the thermal envelope.
