Liquid-cooled desktop with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, 192GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD and 10TB HDD in a mid-tower case
This desktop ships with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor running at 3.7 GHz with a maximum turbo of 5.70 GHz and 36 MB of L3 cache. The Z890 motherboard supports DDR5 memory and the system is populated with 192 GB across four slots, reaching the platform maximum. Integrated graphics drive the display outputs via USB4 and DisplayPort.
A 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD delivers sequential reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s for the operating system and active projects. A 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache adds deep bulk capacity for archives and media libraries. The board provides three M.2 connectors and four SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support for future expansion.
A 360 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while the case includes two 140 mm PWM front fans for airflow. Rear I/O offers one USB4 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and four USB 2.0 ports. Networking includes Intel 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply provides protected delivery for the current build; buyers planning a discrete graphics card will need a higher-capacity unit.
