Purpose-built desktop

This tower workstation combines a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with 192GB DDR5 memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. Liquid cooling keeps the CPU stable under sustained multi-threaded loads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in content creation or high-refresh gaming scenarios.

Storage capacity and headroom

Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives provide 8TB of fast solid-state space for active projects and operating system responsiveness. A 10TB mechanical drive with 256MB cache adds deep bulk storage for archives and media libraries. The motherboard offers four M.2 slots in total, so the two populated slots leave room for future expansion without sacrificing existing volumes.

Interface practical limits

The Z890 platform delivers USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and multiple USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports alongside 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3. Four SATA 6Gb/s connectors support RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 for the mechanical drive and any additional SATA devices. The 850W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply sets the ceiling for further GPU or drive upgrades within this chassis.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA 6Gb/s drives work with the four SATA ports on the Z890 motherboard?

Yes, the Gigabyte Z890 UD board provides four SATA 6Gb/s ports that support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10, so current SATA SSDs or hard drives connect directly.

How can I confirm the 360 mm liquid cooler is running correctly after first boot?

Check that the pump RPM appears in BIOS or monitoring software and that CPU temperatures stay near idle levels under light load, indicating the AIO is circulating coolant.

Which accessories ship with the Corsair 4000D case and what must I provide myself?

The case includes a USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a combo audio jack on the front panel; you will need to supply a monitor, keyboard, mouse and any additional storage beyond the installed 8 TB NVMe and 10 TB HDD.
