Custom Gaming Desktop

The Adamant Custom gaming desktop combines a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card drives modern titles at high settings. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed in a Corsair 4000D tempered glass case. This system targets gamers and content creators who want a balanced, ready-to-run platform.

Sustained Load Behaviour

A 240mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU near its 5.40 GHz boost clock during extended sessions. The Thermaltake Smart 750W 80 PLUS Bronze power supply delivers stable output with Japanese capacitors and a quiet 140mm fan. The motherboard provides four M.2 slots and USB4 ports for high-speed peripherals. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5Gb Ethernet maintain low-latency connectivity under heavy traffic.

Upgrade Context

This build replaces an older desktop that lacks DDR5 bandwidth or PCIe 4.0 storage speeds. The jump is worthwhile when your current machine cannot feed a modern GPU or compile large projects quickly. It is not suited for buyers who need more than 64GB memory out of the box or require multiple graphics cards for compute workloads.

Questions about this item

How loud is the 240 mm liquid cooler and 140 mm PSU fan when the Ryzen 5 9600X runs all day?

The 240 mm Quiet Edition AIO and the Thermaltake 750 W unit with its 140 mm fan are both described as ultra-quiet, keeping noise low during extended loads.

Does the PRIME X870-P motherboard provide enough rear USB ports for my existing keyboard, mouse, headset and two external drives?

The rear panel offers two USB4 Type-C ports at 40 Gbps, one USB 10 Gbps port, three USB 5 Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports, giving plenty of connections for current peripherals.

Will my older SATA SSDs and hard drives fit inside the Corsair 4000D case and connect to the X870-P board?

The case has two 3.5 inch and two 2.5 inch internal bays, and the motherboard provides two SATA 6 Gb/s headers, so legacy drives install directly.
