What this desktop delivers

This desktop is a new gaming and workstation system built around a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB of video memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and targets users who need high single-thread speed plus GPU compute for rendering, simulation or 4K gaming.

The spec that decides fit

The motherboard is a PRIME X870-P ATX board with four DDR5 slots populated by 128GB of high-performance memory and a 1TB Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive on PCIe 4.0. The platform supports up to 192GB total RAM, so buyers who need more than 128GB can expand without replacing modules.

Thermals, noise and power

A 240mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the CPU while a Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W 80 PLUS Gold unit with a 140mm fan supplies power. The Corsair 4000D case moves air through tempered-glass panels, keeping temperatures low and acoustic output subdued during sustained workloads.

Questions about this item

What does the 5.4 GHz boost clock on the Ryzen 5 9600X mean once the system is built?

The 6-core CPU can reach 5.4 GHz on active cores while the 240 mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check during sustained workloads.

What does the PCI Express x16 interface cap at for the RTX 5080 16 GB?

The GPU runs at full PCIe 4.0 x16 bandwidth on the X870 motherboard, so the 16 GB frame buffer sees no interface bottleneck.

What clearance does the 490 mm deep Corsair 4000D case need on a desk?

The case measures 490 mm deep, 239 mm wide and 486 mm high, so allow at least that footprint plus cable space behind the rear I/O panel.
