System purpose

This Adamant Custom desktop is a liquid-cooled gaming and media workstation built around a 6-core Ryzen 5 9600X processor, 64GB of DDR5 memory and an RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB of video memory. It ships with Windows 11 Pro on a 2TB NVMe boot drive and adds a 10TB mechanical drive for bulk storage.

Who it suits and who it does not

The configuration suits creators and engineers who need strong single-thread speed, high memory capacity and a modern GPU for rendering, simulation or AI workloads. Buyers who want more than 64GB of RAM today should look elsewhere, as the board offers four slots but the system arrives fully populated.

Graphics card decides fit

The RTX 5080 with 16GB of video memory is the component that determines whether this build matches a workload; it provides the VRAM capacity required for 3D rendering, simulation or AI inference tasks that exceed integrated or lesser discrete graphics.

Questions about this item

What does the Ryzen 5 9600X's 5.4 GHz boost clock mean for daily workloads?

The 6-core, 12-thread processor can hit 5.40 GHz on light or bursty tasks, keeping the system responsive in gaming, compiling or video editing while the 240 mm liquid cooler manages thermals.

How does the PCI Express x16 link affect the RTX 5080 16GB in this build?

The graphics card runs on a full x16 lane from the X870 motherboard, so the 16 GB GPU is not bandwidth-limited by the slot for gaming or compute workloads.

Will the Corsair 4000D case accept a longer graphics card or extra drives later?

The 4000D supports cards up to 450 mm, has two internal 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays, leaving room for storage expansion alongside the existing 2 TB NVMe and 10 TB hard drive.
