Adamant Custom Liquid-Cooled Workstation

This desktop combines an 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X processor with 192GB of DDR5 memory and an RTX 5080 graphics card. A 240mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals inside an Antec P20 mid-tower case. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and includes a 1000W 80 PLUS Gold power supply.

Suited to media editors and simulation users

The 192GB memory ceiling and dual 4TB NVMe drives support large project files and multi-application workflows. Buyers who need more than 192GB of RAM or additional drive bays beyond the two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch internal slots should consider a different platform.

PCI Express x16 graphics interface

The RTX 5080 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot on the PRIME X870-P motherboard. This link determines the card's bandwidth and is the specification that confirms compatibility with the installed GPU.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the dual 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO drives or a single 8 TB NVMe drive for the fastest storage?

The system ships with two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 SSDs running PCIe 4.0 x4, delivering up to 7450 MB/s read and 6900 MB/s write. That combined 8 TB NVMe array is already the primary boot and application volume.

What does the Ryzen 7 9700X 3.8 GHz base clock mean for actual workloads once the liquid cooler is fitted?

The 8-core, 16-thread CPU can boost up to 5.50 GHz with 32 MB L3 cache. The 240 mm AIO liquid cooler keeps thermals low so sustained all-core speeds stay high during rendering, compilation or gaming sessions.

How fast are the rear USB4 ports and what do they cap at in practice?

The PRIME X870-P motherboard provides two USB4 Type-C ports rated at 40 Gbps each. They support DisplayPort tunnelling and PCIe data, so external NVMe enclosures or high-resolution monitors run at full interface speed.
