Built for gaming and media work

This desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 9700X processor with a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card and 32 GB of DDR5 memory. A 240 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU quiet under sustained load. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on a fast 1 TB NVMe drive.

Upgrading from older platforms

The AM5 motherboard supports up to 192 GB of memory across four slots, so the current 32 GB can grow without replacing the board. The 750 W power supply and PCI Express x16 slot give headroom for a stronger graphics card later. Builders who need a second GPU or more than two 3.5-inch drives will find the case bays limiting.

Storage capacity and speed

The Samsung 990 PRO NVMe drive reads up to 7450 MB/s and writes up to 6900 MB/s, making it ideal for the operating system and active projects. A 10 TB hard drive with 256 MB cache adds bulk space for media libraries and backups. Users who want all-flash storage will need to add more NVMe drives themselves.

Questions about this item

Will the Corsair 4000D case fit a 240 mm liquid cooler and a full-length RTX 5060 graphics card?

Yes. The 490 mm depth and 239 mm width accommodate the 240 mm AIO radiator at the top or front and the RTX 5060 in the PCIe x16 slot with room for cable routing.

How do I install the 240 mm AIO cooler on the AM5 motherboard, and which step is most often missed?

Mount the AM5 retention bracket first, apply thermal paste, seat the cold plate, then connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN connector — forgetting the pump header leaves the cooler running at minimum speed.

When will the 10 TB hard drive or the 240 mm AIO liquid cooler need replacement?

The 10 TB HDD typically lasts five to seven years; watch for SMART reallocated-sector warnings. The sealed 240 mm AIO usually runs five to six years before pump wear or permeation loss requires a full unit swap.
