System core

Best fit

The machine suits creators and gamers who want a balanced 8-core CPU, high-speed DDR5 memory and a modern Radeon GPU in a single Windows 11 Pro build. Buyers who need more than 32 GB of memory from day one or who require a second graphics card should look at other configurations.

Total solid-state storage is 8 TB, delivered as two 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 drives using a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with read speeds up to 7450 MB/s and write speeds up to 6900 MB/s.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler and 469 × 220 × 490 mm case fit on my desk?

The Antec P20 mid-tower measures 469 mm deep, 220 mm wide and 490 mm high; the 240 mm AIO mounts at the front or top, so allow a few centimetres extra for radiator hoses and front-panel cables.

What is the most common mistake when building this PC?

Forgetting to remove the protective film from the CPU cold-plate before seating the 240 mm AIO, which causes immediate overheating on the Ryzen 7 9700X.

Which components will need replacement first?

The 140 mm PSU fan and the three 120 mm front case fans are the only moving parts; expect to swap them after several years of continuous use.
