System purpose

This desktop combines an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card and 128GB of DDR5 memory. It is built for professionals who need strong single-thread speed and GPU compute in a single workstation.

Storage capacity

A 1TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application loading, while a 10TB hard drive adds deep capacity for large project archives. The motherboard offers four M.2 connectors in total, so additional solid-state storage can be added later.

Deciding specification

The RTX 5080 ships with 16GB of video memory, which sets the ceiling for model size and texture resolution in GPU-accelerated workloads. Buyers whose datasets exceed that frame buffer will need a different graphics solution.

Questions about this item

Will the AM5 socket on the PRIME X870-P motherboard accept my existing AM4 cooler mounting hardware?

The AM5 socket uses a different mounting pattern than AM4, so your current cooler brackets will not fit; the system ships with a 240 mm liquid cooler already installed.

How can I confirm the Samsung 990 PRO 1 TB NVMe is running at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose the SSD, and verify the link speed shows PCIe 4.0 x4; sequential reads should approach 7 450 MB/s and writes 6 900 MB/s.

Does the Corsair 4000D case include the 3.5-inch drive trays needed for the 10 TB HDD, or must I buy them separately?

The case provides two internal 3.5-inch bays with trays included, and the 10 TB drive is factory-installed in one of them.
